Indeed we do have a problem. Thanks for bringing wider attention to it. If Australia is actually governed by The Rule of Law, the Parliament and the Court need to act now in order to verify that claim.

They cannot. Because "them that's got the gold makes the rules" and NOT the people who only make noise and leave those they complain about to do whatever.

It was the height of a political corruption trial, the prosecuting attorney attacked the witness after finally being allowed ( you know how it is these days). “Isn't it true,” she bellowed, “that you accepted fifty thousand dollars to compromise this case?”

The witness stared out the window, as though he hadn't heard the question.

The prosecutor again blared, “Isn't it true that you accepted fifty thousand dollars to compromise this case?”

The witness still did not respond.

Finally, the judge leaned over and said, “Sir, could you please answer the question.”

The witness looked at the Judge and said; " Oh, I'm terribly sorry I thought she was talking to you."

Humour helps to lighten the load JG. One more for the road. Frustrated Prosecution to the Judge; " What if I were to call you a complete & utter arsehole?" Judge; "30 days in gaol for contempt of court." Prosecutor; " What if I think you're an arsehole?" Judge; " Well there is no law ( yet) about thinking anything." Prosecutor; " Well then I think you're an arsehole."

Not a good idea to attack or threaten the judges. They do not carry guns, but have command of people who do - and they can lock you up. The judiciary are part of the problem as they function today BUT they are not the problem itself. Start with the people who let it happen.

We need a military, we need police and we need a judiciary. Leave them alone as they are not the cause of the problems but as they currently function they are only a symptom of those problems. Treating symptoms never cured any illness.

Settle Pete, it's called humour, give it a try.👍🇦🇺😄

I am often accused of gallows humour and castigated for it by family and others. My problem is that with so many being maimed and killed by a corrupt and corrupting system that is incapable of self correction, the jokes get a bit thin on humour.

All these entities we are constantly told to trust will NOT tolerate questions let alone criticism. That's the biggest joke of all, and it is on us.

Here's a joke for you. The legal system in Australia is NOT intended to deal with rights or justice - they do not deal in these in any way. Too true to laugh at. Whyee? Because the legal system is too brutal on those least able to function within it yet are forced to because of their ignorance of it.

It is very funny how such a charade exists, is so powerfully maintained and yet it is all a mirage. Pull the curtain back and you will see the wizard. Then you can laugh as much as you want to.

Asking lawyers and judiciary why they do things the way they do is like asking a child why they like chocolate. Its a futile exercise - it is simply because they do.

Law schools teach aspirants HOW to do things within a Legal System, the national and state forms of Legal Practice. Nothing about WHY it is done this way - and to survive and prosper within this system it is not wise to challenge it or question it as to do so is to be excluded from it.

Asking Political Party hacks who by membership prior to election or appointment to 'please change things' is equally futile. It is IMPOSSIBLE for a party member who has given their allegiance to the party first and foremost, to vote or act against the party hierarchy in the interest of any others. This is the huge lie at the centre of the political fraud - party first, people second, always. How can a party hack represent the electorate as they claim when the party leadership demands and commands obedience above all when needed?

This feels like life generally...actually, I make a correction...not 'life' as life is inclusive and wonderful...but 'society'

The elite are long term systems thinkers in their objectives.

Like a Casino the tables are tilted the dice weighted, odds stacked before they engage the punters.

And so with big Pharma who historically are proven liars and charlatans they have stacked the government and judiciary for possibly decades before the big sting 🦂

“in the light of contemporary values.” The values that say the government does whatever it wants in a state of emergency. Bugger the constitution, its an emergency!

The big question is if the product contains GMOs then so does the recipient, if that is the case who "owns" the recipient given that they are now a GMO?

For my part I'm enjoying these little dollops of sardonic mirth, as they surface amid the bitter GMO gruel that's been forced upon us all. Revenge isn't my thing . . but justice will be sweet. Hi ho JG !
